Biography

Rute Esteves, Viana do Castelo (Portugal), 1980, is currently based in Barcelona. Rute trained as a dancer in the Professional School Balleteatro, Porto, beginning 2001. She participated in the research course in choreography and creation led by Vera Mantero, Francisco Camacho, and Joao Fiadeiro in Fórum Dança, Lisbon, 2003. She has also trained as a Dance-Movement-Therapist at the Universidad Autónoma of Barcelona since 2008. In October 2009 start’s the higher degree in Choreography and Dance Performance Techniques at the Institut del Teatre, Barcelona.
